Power and Environmental Monitoring Technology Repackaged by DPS

Data and Power Solutions is pleased to announce that the leading 19" rack power and accessories manufacturer has repackaged its existing power and environmental monitoring technology to provide improved cost-effective solutions for legacy systems.

 

This solution is ideal for existing installations that need to remotely determine an accurate Data Centre Infrastructure Efficiency (DCIE) and Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE). Appropriately designed to deliver power usage information at rack level, data centre managers can also keep track of their data room operating conditions using DPS in-line power meters. Fitted with a range of environmental monitoring devices, there should be no unexpected outages due to changes in data room conditions.

 

DPS has a reputation for developing and delivering custom-built or off-the-shelf solutions, manufacturing and supplying all the necessary equipment. In addition, we can also supply kWh monitoring PDUs in multiple form factors allowing alarms to be set remotely, as well as relevent monitoring and reporting; all without the need to buy any additional hardware or software.

 

KWh monitoring and remote power solutions can be added to most PDUs. That includes splitter boxes for dual power/kWh monitoring and all logged data can be interrogated using an inbuilt Web/SNMP server, as well as other advanced options.
