Remote Power Monitoring

The DPS Remote Power monitoring option provides simple yet very powerful monitoring of your power and energy usage. Further environmental monitoring is also an option.

 

Fully IP enabled, you can not only monitor your units directly via the inbuilt web server  but you can integrate them into a BMS/NMS as well as an SQL platform.

 

You can either have stand-alone units (individual IP address per PDU) or connect via a single IP address up to 16 PDU's.

 

Power Monitoring as standard includes the following features:

 

  • Volts
  • Amps
  • Apparent Power
  • Real Power
  • Power Factor
  • KWh's
  • 2 x External sensor ports

 

The 2 x external sensor ports can have the following connected

 

  • 5 or 16 sensor port expansion panel
  • Temperature Sensor
  • Temperature & Airflow Sensor
  • Temperature, Humidity & Airflow Sensor
  • Temperature, Humidity & Dew Point Sensor
  • Spot Water Sensor
  • Water Rope Sensor (various lengths)
  • Smoke Sensor
  • Door/Contact Sensor

 

All data provided by the PDU's power & environmental sensors can have user assigned thresholds given to them to provided automated alerts and alarms if the leave their given paramaeters. 

 

Alarms can be sent via email and SNMP as well as local audible alarms.

 

All data is logged internally and historical data can be exported into a database via a .CSV file.
