Basic Heat Bank
Whether you need to test the overall cooling capacity of a new data Centre installation or just make sure you can control the hot spots generated from a high density sever deployment, our new Heat Bank allows a realistic evaluation of your computer room air conditioning unit (CRAC) through the generation of known Kilowatts and airflow.
DPS Heat Banks come in 4 different sizes; 3KW, 4KW, 6KW and 18KW. All models are 19" rack mount compatible or they can be situated on the floor. The airflow in the Heat Banks is front to rear with switches to vary the amount of active Kilowatts.
Each unit has a detachable lead to allow you to choose your lead length and plug type to suit.
Optionally, you can combine the DPS heat bank with a flexible IP Environmental monitoring solution to generate a complete thermal/airflow picture of your Data Centre.
DPS also manufacture a Server Heat & Airflow Simulator that allows for a more precise replication and analysis of servers and other IT equipment. The DPS Server Heat Simulator gives more precise heat and airflow control that can be configured to generate a specific ratio of thermal increase to air flow.
